Signature member of California Plein Air Painters - For Artists who love painting outdoors.

Members and Member Participation are the heart of the California Plein Air Painters (CPAP) organization. CPAP was created for plein air artists who reside in California and who love to paint outdoors. We charge no mandatory membership dues to participate as a Member. Instead, we encourage CPAP Members to inter-act across all levels of membership. We do ask for voluntary donations to help cover costs of website maintenance and event promotion but these expenses are minimal.

Our Main Goal is to provide a venue where plein air artists of all different skill levels can inter-act with each other, display their art and improve their skils in all aspects of painting. Artists can not only display their artwork but can participate in lively discussions ranging from professional practices to marketing. Members can also promote their own exhibits and events.

Inter-action between Members is furthered through our Chapters, Groups, Exhibits, Workshops, Paintouts and Contests that offer instruction, discussion and challenges to all of our Members. Check out our Membership Levels, Events and other offerings and then...  Join Now!
